Who We Are
Sustainable Transport Council (STC) is an independent non-profit public benefit corporation with a vision of transforming the way the world builds transport projects, one route at a time.
We help professionals think beyond business as usual in design and construction to enhance climate security, reduce environmental impacts, reconnect communities, and even save money.
We are best known for our consensus-based, research-backed Greenroads® Rating System and rating program and proudly introduce our Greenrails™ and Greenmodes™ brands.
We offer three programs that support the use of our rating systems around the world to design and build outstanding transport projects: membership, education, and project rating.
